Bec is our resident Queen of Certificates!
Bec originally started out in the hospitality industry where she was totally dedicated to the awkward shift work and long hours until late 2001 when she found out that people do actually (in the immortal words of Dolly) work 9 to 5. So, she applied for a role as a customer service officer at Suncorp. Yep, like most of the FPQ team, Bec served a solid apprenticeship at Suncorp and remained there for 10 years.
In 2011 she joined the WealthCreate team. Bec worked her way through client engagement and planner support and then when WealthCreate became Financial Planning Qld in 2021 she continued her role as Office Manager. Bec’s role is a demanding one but ensures the office remains compliant and efficient whilst also keeping the team motivated for its next chapter.
As our Queen of Certificates, Bec holds qualifications in hospitality, disability, and of course financial services.
Outside the office Bec has two boys who keep her young. She loves being outside with them – the beach, adventures and picnics are her favorite things to do.
Bec can be found in her office, with country music playing a little loud and sometimes bare footed. Don’t think she doesn’t get her work done though! So, next time you’re visiting the office, don’t be shy, follow the music and say hi.
